Warhol-esque Digital Painting

Image
This is a picture of the Olympic figure skater, Yuzuru Hanyu, who I used for this assignment. This is my Warhol-esque digital painting. This was a bit rushed and I was following false instructions so this did not have the outcome I hoped it would.

Georgia O'Keeffe-Inspired Digital Painting

Image
This is the original flower This is my Georgia O'Keefe inspired painting. For this painting, I zoomed in on the original picture and used soft colors that matched the original color palette. I liked this project not only because of the freedom we get, but because it was fun to blend in the colors and see the outcome.

Digital Post-Impressionist Portrait

Image
This is my digital post-impressionist portrait. This is actually me during competition. I'm very proud of the outcome of this because of all the effort I put into this. This was tough like the landscape because I couldn't get the exact color needed.

Digital Post-Impressionist Landscape

This is my digital post-impressionist landscape piece. This assignment was tough because the brush I used didn't paint with the exact color chosen. This assignment tool a while compared to other assignments.

Digital Painting of Choice: Sketchbook Pro

Image
For this assignment, I painted a picture of a sunset. I personally liked this assignment because I had a lot of freedom and I could experiment with the many features Sketchbook Pro provides.

Create a New Logo for Favorite Brand (ArtRage)

Image
I recreated the logo for one of my favorite bands called The Rose. I got this idea at first because I didn't really like the original logo so I decided to recreate it to a more simple version since the original is so intricate. I liked this assignment because I had a lot of freedom with this and was able to do something simple but with a meaning behind it.

ArtRage Composition: Formal/Informal Balance

Image
This is my formal/informal balance assignment. I used bubbles for this. At first, I wanted this to be formal balance so I used the mirror tool on Sketchbook Pro. Eventually, I decided to break the balance with a couple out of place bubbles. Overall, this project was simple and fun because I got to experiment with the many features of Sketchbook Pro.

Street Art Piece in Sketchbook Pro

Image
This is my Street Art Piece in Sketchbook Pro. This is supposed to symbolize the entertainment companies SM Entertainment and YG Entertainment burning. The reason why I chose to paint this on the brick background was that these entertainments were very big and successful entertainments but they didn't treat their artists under their management right. I wanted to present my resentment towards these two companies so I decided to do it on this assignment.

ArtRage Stencils: Rhythm/Movement

Image
This is my ArtRage Stencils assignment. I chose to use silhouettes of ice skating positions. The top ones are spin positions called the layback and biellmann. The bottom two are the air position and a finishing pose. The air position is the position the skater is in when they are in the air. The finishing pose is the pose that skaters normally make at the end of their program.

Rothko-esque Painting in ArtRage

Image
This is my Rothko-esque painting I made in ArtRage. This project was very simple but it was a bit challenging when blending the colors together to make it look blended but still be able to tell the colors apart.

Celebrity With Animal Name

Image
This is my Celebrity With Animal Name assignment. I used Amber Liu and turned her into a gander making Gander Liu. To make this I used the beak of a gander and blended it into a picture of Amber.
